A bunch of rain and a little wind. Besides a little ran somehow welcoming itself into our front door, we are in good shape. Schools were closed for Thursday and Friday which complicated everything. In reality, everything could have probably stayed open, but we were prepared for the worst. Tonight it was beautiful so we ventured to the dog beach at Fort Desoto. We all had fun.

Lets keep things real here. You see these pictures of what looks like this happy family. Well in reality, it takes a huge amount of effort to even get us all in one spot for a photo. Here is what a majority of the pictures we take turn out like. So take 50 pictures and hope you get one good one. The digital age is great.

Who would have though working and trying to reason with a 2yr old would be so difficult? Not me, this first time parent here. He has been playing and do what he wished for the past hour. But it was WAY too much to ask him to take 30 seconds and sit by the dog for a photo.
