Well we have a Child now, so we should probably decorate and get into the spirit. Christmas rushed in and we are left in a new Year. The past year was a blur and we have just tried to enjoy every moment of it that we can. Go figure, Camerons favorite gift from Santa was a soccer ball. He loves balls. He has also been using his house keeping set, some cleaning and the rest to wave around and hit things. More balls, great! This decorating cookies is fun and yummy. Here is our third Christmas on the 26th. Cameron eating an M&M from Grandma This is huge, what would it be? A box I can sit in!!! Even better, it holds sand! Time to make a big mess. Grandpa and Cam at the zoo. Poor Cam had a cold and was not feeling well, but he still enjoyed his time looking at the monkeys. Mom: The sun is in our eyes! Merry-Go-Round! Look a pony! Petting area. Took some family pictures at the spa. Upside down Cam. Grandpa throwing water. Great Gramdma Sypherd! GREAT Grandma and Grandpa Sypherd. Back at the zoo, using our membership. Visited a bird show. A little slow moving for kids, but very neat to see the birds up close. Dog sitting Bodhi
Grandma and Grandpa Deerhake are here visiting and of course Grandpa was more than willing to help us out with a play area for Cameron in the back yard. Here are a few pictures that Grandma has taken during the progress. Measure once, cut twice....Well thats how it works with a 1yr old helping.
Bodhi has come over to visit us over the Christmas holiday and into the New Year. He is right around 4 years old and is a weim mix. At first we were worried they would not get along but now they cannot be separated. Became best of buddies very quickly. You sleep, I sleep. Really, you are making us stay with a toddler around? This is not fair. HI! I smell Rabbit, Do you? Here we are out for our daily frisbee game. Bodhi stays tied up since he isn't 100% on his recall with me. Okay, this REALLY is not FAIR. We have to sit and stay with a toddler willing to give us cookies? HO HO HO, Merry Christmas from the two silly dogs.
Mardi needed some obedience classes so 7-8 months ago we started taking classes at a dog club. Now I'm a member and we were able to help represent the club in the Dunedin parade. The Dog sure did get lots of attention, many people thought he was a gray hound because of his color. It was a fun time and we even did some Christmas activities with friends when we were finished. ----Mardi was good too!
Ainsley came over for breakfast yesterday and showed us we need to work on how to share. Kids are funny.
So far the tomato plants have been unharmed by the active toddler but we cannot say the save for my cactus. We hope to have tomatoes growing soon.
