No time to sleep around here. Friday night I started off by taking some instructor photos, Saturday morning I took the dog to a obedience event, afterwards we headed to the Tampa Aquarium, then had a lovely dinner on the back patio. Sunday started off again with another dog obedience event where Mardi confirmed he is a weimaraner, ran over to Safety Harbor to play with Anisley, Lunch at home, errands and then finished the day off at Honeymoon island. We cannot forget that Chris fit in Scooter riding with a group of 7 Saturday evening.
Well I never thought one obedience class would take us here, but here we are. Titled in Beginner Novice Obedience and today we ended up second place in Novice Obedience Class B. We were in a class against 6 other dogs, 5 of them shelties (super obedient). When we first started out Mardi was extremely distracted but after he got a few sniffs out, he snapped out of it and performed. We qualified and even came into 2nd place. GO MARDI! He is super happy about his new toy and was carrying it around. To get a title we must qualify at 3 different events with a minimum of two different judges. Tomorrow we hope to qualify again and will have to find another event sometime in the future.
Finally we are into the beginning of October and the temperatures have started to fall into the 70's at night at early morning. We have even seen some days into the high 60's. We have been spending more time outside and all of us our enjoying it.
