For the past few years we've been into butterfly plants and have attracted a few different species.  The Monarch will always remain one of my favorites.   They are just beautiful.

Our new puppy finally has a name, Mako!  Named after a shark for his shark like teeth amazing speed and a Mako Shark jumps extremely high out of the water.

The New Year has rushed in. One of the things I will be improving on in 2018 is updating my blog.

December 18th we took off on a cruise from Tampa to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Here are a few photos.

Another year wiser and still we are not sure what we are doing.   Cam will be 3 on Tuesday, May 30th and we just celebrated his Birthday this weekend.    He was such a pleasure today and enjoyed himself.

Sometimes life gets in the way and you forget to make time for the things that you enjoy.  This is what has happened to me for the past 6 plus months.   Lots of stress, pounds heavier and a new home,  It is time to get back to the basics and go back to the things I enjoy.  Such as walks in the park and taking photos.  

Hurricane is a pretty strong word for what we received.   A bunch of rain and a little wind.   Besides a little ran somehow welcoming itself into our front door, we are in good shape.  Schools were closed for Thursday and Friday which complicated everything.   In reality, everything could have probably stayed open, but we were prepared for the worst.   Tonight it was beautiful so we ventured to the dog beach at Fort Desoto.  We all had fun.

Lets keep things real here.   You see these pictures of what looks like this happy family.  Well in reality, it takes a huge amount of effort to even get us all in one spot for a photo.   Here is what a majority of the pictures we take turn out like.  So take 50 pictures and hope you get one good one.    The digital age is great.

Who would have though working and trying to reason with a 2yr old would be so difficult?  Not me, this first time parent here.  He has been playing and do what he wished for the past hour.  But it was WAY too much to ask him to take 30 seconds and sit by the dog for a photo. 

With enough effort you can do anything.   Yesterday Mardi earned his 2nd place and qualified for his 3 leg of a Companion Dog Title.  He was quite pleased to get a toy during awards.

The monster made this mess and vacated the area to make more messes somewhere else.
