Montreal Visit

I had the opportunity to go on a business trip for a press check up into Montreal.  While I was there I looked up what the city is known for and tried to make the best of my limited time there.

One of the things that it is known for is the Underground City.   It just happened to be a block from my hotel, so I went out and was quickly able to find it.  It travels down many stories and is truly impressive.   Being up in Canada, there are many many cold months of the year that bring snow.  This was a good solution to the issue.

Then there is the beautiful Roman Catholic church which was started in 1823 called the Notre-Dame Basilica.   This has been classified as a National Historic Site of Canada.  The architecture and beauty was outstanding.

While in Montreal I went to a well rated greek restaurant and ordered their lunch special.   Food was fabulous but it was a little culture shock for me when the fish was served like this!

Overall I loved the French Canadians and how I was treated everywhere.   The experience was great and I would return to Montreal for a visit.
